Da hinten im morgendlichen Dunst, da liegt eine der am schönsten gelegenen Hauptstädte. Oben Wald, unten Wasser. Die Color Line schiebt sich nunmehr seit knapp 100 Kilometern den Oslofjord hinauf, der sich immer enger windet und in einer hufeisenförmigen Bucht endet. An manchen Inseln schiebt sich die Kreuzfahrtfähre so nah vorbei, dass man rüber- spucken könnte. Am besten mit Kirschkernen. Zentimeterar- beit. Aus dem 13. Stock des Sonnendecks präsentiert sich Oslo aus der Flugzeuperspektive. FRAM- und KON-TIKI-Museum, Yachthafen, die alte Festung Akerhus, Aker Brygge, Tjuvhol- men und Bj ø rvika. Oberhalb der Stadt, halb in Wolkenbergen verborgen, der Holmenkollen, die modernste Skisprungschanze der Welt. Sie liegt bereits in der Oslomark, dem bewaldeten Umland. Zurück in die Stadt. Oslo wakes up. Right behind the morning haze, you can find one of the most beautifully located capitals in the world. There is forest at the top, and water at the bottom.
