Education: I’m a skilled electrician, so naturally ... Hobby:/ Hobbies: Mein Vater hat mich immer auf dem Tank seines Trialmotorrades mitgenommen, bis ich dann mit vier Jahren ein eigenes bekommen habe, so ist mein Hobby seit nun knapp 39 Jahren das Motorradtrialfahren und ich denke fast, dass es auch meine große Liebe ist. Inzwischen fahre ich nicht mehr ganz so viel und bin da eher in der Organisation, unter anderem als Team- Manager für das Team Deutschland und als Trainer, tätig. Der Trainerjob hat den Vorteil, man bringt den Kindern neben dem Trialfahren viel Blödsinn bei und gibt sie dann wieder ab. My Dad used to take me along on the tank of his trial motorbike until I got my own at the age of 4. So trial motorbiking has been my hobby for almost 39 years now and I tend to think that this is also my big love. By now I don’t ride as much anymore and am rather active in the organisation as Team Manager for the German Team and as a trainer. The advantage of being a trainer is that you can teach the kids a lot of nonsense and give them back again afterwards. Was er gar nicht so mag: Ich mag eigentlich gar nicht arbeiten, aber die Abwechslung und die meisten Kollegen im Hafen machen das erträglich. What he actually doesn’t like: Actually, I don’t like working but the diversity and most of the colleagues in port make it bearable. Lieblingsfilm: Ich schaue meist die Marvel-Filme gern. Favourite movie: Mostly, I like the Marvel movies. Sein Motto:/ His motto: „Alles wird gut!“ You’ll be fine. PORT CLOSE-UP HAFENLUPE Ein Vollblutelektroniker, wie er im Buche steht. Voller Ta- tendrang kommt der 43-Jährige daher. Seit fast 20 Jahren ist er bereits im Kieler Hafen tätig. So fällt in das Ressort der betriebseigenen E-Werkstatt von der 230-Volt-Bürosteckdose bis hin zum Kran mit einer Einspeisung von 10.000 Volt über die Steuerungstechnik der Hafenanlagen alles, was im PORT OF KIEL mit Spannung zu tun hat. Kein Wunder, dass Susi bekannt ist wie ein bunter Hund. A textbook example of an electrician through and through. He is 43 years old and full of beans. He has worked in the port of Kiel for almost 20 years now. The field of action of the in-house electronics workshop ranges from the 230 volt office socket over the crane with an electrical feed of 10,000 volt to the overall control technology of the port facilities.
