Kombüse – der exklusive Veranstaltungsort Wer vor dem Eckmannspeicher steht oder gar dabei ist, sich durch das eher neutrale Treppenhaus nach oben zu kämpfen, ahnt kaum, wie sehr der Weg ins Dachgeschoss sich doch lohnt. Ganz vergessen ist die Atemnot, denn atemberaubend der Anblick. Zuerst erfasst das Auge den gediegenen Holzfuß- boden. Der Blick schweift nach oben zum Gebälk mit dem his- torischen Speicher-Seilzug. Komfortable Ledersessel, in denen man sich vor dem fröhlich lodernden Feuer im Kamin nieder- lassen kann, laden zum Verschnaufen ein. Hauptbestandteil der Kombüse ist die Küche, die sich hinter dem spiegelblanken Tresen verbirgt. Ausgestattet mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Hier kann man Show-Cooking veranstalten, Catering aufbauen oder selbst kochen. Bei aller Geschichtsträchtigkeit des Raumes fehlt es aber trotzdem nicht an hochmoderner medialer Ausstattung. Der 60-Zoll-Monitor gibt das schillernde Hafenpanorama der Webcam vom Dach des Speichers wider. Mit iPhone kann man abtauchen in die digitale Welt von WLAN, Blu-Ray und Apple Airplay.
