Was waren die wichtigsten Projek- te in den vergangenen Jahren? Der Kieler Seehafen hat innerhalb von acht Jahren mehr als 100 Millionen Euro in die Optimierung sowie den Ausbau der Terminalanlagen investiert. Damit wurden die infrastrukturellen Grundlagen für die Steigerung der Umschlagsmengen auf erstmals mehr als sechs Millionen Tonnen geschaffen. Durch unsere Investitionen bieten wir unseren Kunden topmoderne und sehr leistungsfähige Hafenanlagen. Der Erfolg des Kieler Hafens basiert auf diesem exzellenten Gesamtangebot mit hoher Qualität und erstklassigem Service. Schlüsselprojekte der vergangenen Jah- re waren der Neubau des Kreuzfahrt- terminals am Ostseekai, die komplette Umgestaltung des Schwedenkais sowie die Erweiterung des Norwegenkais. Derzeit richtet sich unsere besondere Aufmerksamkeit auf den Ostuferhafen, dem Kieler Fracht- und Logistikzen- trum im Verkehr mit Russland und dem Baltikum. This infrastructural groundwork allowed an increase of the turnover-volume to up to 6 Million tons for the first time. Thanks to our investment we can provide top modern and very potent port facilities for our customers. Port of Kiel’s success is based on the excellent all-over offer of high quality and first-class service. Key projects in recent years are the new construction of the cruise terminal at the Ostseekai, the complete transformation of the Schwedenkai as well as the extension of the Norwegenkai. At the moment, we are fully focused on the Ostuferhafen, the Freight and Logistics centre Kiel with its transport to Russia and the Baltic States. During this year and in the last year, we conducted extensive optimization measures so this part of the harbour will now also be extended in size. What are your plans for the coming years?
